[Boatanchors] Rectifier tube for the HQ-170

Hi Kurt,

If you can get the transformer unhooked from the
circuit you can use a Meggar to check the insulation
of the transformer.  This tool is really an ohm meter
and is used by electricians for just that purpose.  It
is rated in Meg-ohms and puts about 500 VDC on the
wiring of the transformer in relation to either one of
the other windings or to the case, or ground.

Any Motor repair shop could help you with this, or an
electrical contractor.
