[Boatanchors] FS: Drake SPR-4

I have an SPR-4 in good physical condition and very good operating
condition.  It includes the standard SWL crystals and extra crystals for the
marine communications band, it does not have the calibrator or noise
blanker.  

It has a miniature toggle switch for AVC added to the right side of the
chassis allowing AVC Off-Slow-Fast.  This was professionally done and looks
very nice (according to the original owner done by Drake).  It also has a
500 ohm output for recorder or line amplifier added.  This was done by
adding a transformer to the inside of the rear top cover, and adding two
miniature pin jacks to the top of the cover, again very professionally done.
If the radio were not modified it would be graded as "excellent".

This radio also includes the original manual and a.c. cord.  I am asking
$200 plus shipping from Houston, TX.  I can e-mail a picture if you are
interested.  

I checked with the list administrator, and although this is a solid state
radio he agreed that it is a "boatanchor".
