[Boatanchors] National RAS (HRO) for Trade

I have a WW2 vintage Navy National RAS system, essentially a HRO jr (HRO
with175kHz IF, no xtal filter, S-meter and bandspread,) with power supply,
speaker, and coil box in a 3 1/2' rack. It has a complete coil set, which
covers 190 kHz to 30 MHz. Condition is really dingy, like it has been
stored in garages for 50+ years, with a light paint coating on some of the
name plates. Some of the plug-in coil calibration curve plastic covers are
badly warped and discolored. Electrically, I don't know. I have never
applied power. First choice is a trade for a normal HRO with bandspread
coils, but would trade for a transmitter or boatanchor receiver that
interests me or sell it. It's available because I have a space problem, and
am too old to move it without literally "straining a gut".

It's too heavy and awkward to ship, so would like to arrange a pickup. I
live in the Los Angeles area, near Torrance and Redondo Beach. I'll be at
the TRW swap meet this coming Saturday. I occasionally travel to the San
Diego and north near the San Francisco area.

   Anyone interested? Jim
