[Boatanchors] speaker advise wanted

Perhaps that was the speaker system called "Sweet Sixteen" which consisted
of 16 speakers
mounted in a plywood case. I too built one of these and was amazed at the
lousy sound
coming out of the old Philco TV set. Not a problem with the speakers but
the quality of
sound being transmitted in those days.
