My Tri-State-500 Transmitter, circa 1960-63, see August 2001 CQ Classic
Radio Calendar, uses one or something similar to provide a time delay
between filament turn on and Hi-voltage turn on. Thus, the final, a single
ceramic 4-150 has time to warm up before seeing B+.
