I hope that hams of today are still USING log books.  I know the temptation
not to would be great since the FCC relaxed the logging requirements years
ago.  And, with computers, there would be even less of a reason to use a
written log.  To me though, a written log has always been a thing of pride, of
art and pleasure.  I still pull out my old ones from years ago and go through them,
remembering certain qso's and people I met.  Looking at the notes about their
rigs and antennas.  Brings back a lot of memories.
     I chuckle how when I was a novice in the 60's it was required to log EVERY
CQ, even when there was no answer....
