Not really Todd, you would be surprised how many "EXPERTS" come out of the
woodwork when someone comes up with an idea, like I never thought that
someone might actually want to mount this silly thing???? You know the old
saying "Anyone can change a great ides once documented but nothing befuddles
the mind so much as a blank piece of paper"....

Are we a bit touchy? I posted it because of your remarks about understanding
that the set would fit other radios as well - it will not without drilling.

don't recall having seen that in any of your previous posts, Dutch.
Wasn't an attempt to second guess, either - just an attempt at clarity on
something I hadn't seen mentioned. Regardless though, I don't know of any
'expert' out there whose comments I'd be afraid to add to if something
wasn't
accurate or otherwise covered.
If I missed a post where you mentioned drilling panels on other receivers, I
