Small Wonders SW-30+ transceiver, for 30 meters, neatly built into extremely
rugged diecast aluminum enclosure by me. Includes neatly built homebrew
implementation of the SWL RIT circuit using the 4066 IC. On back are
center-post coaxial power jack, BNC for RF, miniature phone jacks for key
and audio, and a quarter-inch stereo jack installed with an eye toward
eventually adding a keyer (no keyer installed). With manual. Works
perfectly. $95.
Small Wonders Lab White Mountain 20-meter SSB transceiver, neatly built into
extremely rugged diecast aluminum enclosure by me. Includes Morse frequency
enunciator, activated by push button mounted on case. Also includes the
recommended Radio Shack speaker mike, fitted with three-conductor
quarter-inch plug. Rig tunes with ten-turn pot. On back are BNC antenna and
coaxial-style power connector. The volume control, on the front, includes an
on-off switch; the switch is not presently implemented but could be used as
a power on-off switch if desired. With manual. A very neat rig that works
perfectly - just finished talking to a number of Boy Scouts "up north" to
help them finish their radio merit badge -- I'm selling this one only
because I find I simply don't use SSB! $145.
Century 21 CW transceiver. Covers 80-40-20-15-10, CW only transmit. Built-in
audio filter. With Tentec accessory crystal calibrator and Tentec manual.
Very good condition, works perfectly; in daily use here - if you've worked
me in the last few years on a band other than 30 it's probably been this
rig. Power output is front panel adjustable down to zero. $135
METERS
Meter. A "W.S. No. 19 Voltmeter" made by Simpson Electric Co., according to
the logo embossed on the back. The scale is calibrated 0-15 and 0-600. On
the lower left side of the scale it reads "Model 125" and on the lower right
it reads "6323". I checked the movement and it works, but it does not read
voltage directly...apparently a dropping resistor was used. The meter is in
a black round case 2.75 inches in diameter and mounts in a 2.25 inch round
hole. $4
Meter. Lafayette, 0-10 volts. Works fine. Extra set of contacts at top; not
sure what they're for. Rectangular face about two and three-eights wide by
one and three-quarters deep. Mounts in 1.5-inch hole. Matches 201 above. $4.
Meter, edge mount, labeled "EMICO." An S-meter, reads 1-9 and to 60 db.
Mounts in 1.75x0.75 rectangular hole. Screw terminals. $4
Meter, Allied Electronics, 0-100 dc microamps. Brand new in box. Very nice.
Square face about 2.5x2.25, mounts in round hole about 2 in. dia. $5.
Meter, 0-1 ma dc, tiny! Meter face is just under 1.25 in. square, mounts in
1-in. round hole with a large plastic nut on the threaded case. $4
Meter, edge mount, 500 ua scale calibrated 1-9. New. $3.
-- all six meters as a group, shipped lower 48, $26.
VARIABLE CAPACITORS
Variable capacitor. 1.5-inch dia plates, quarter inch centered shaft. Panel
mount. Brass colored shaft, phenolic front frame. Seven rotor plates, seven
stator plates. No manufacturer name that I can find. $3
Variable capacitor. Plates about 1.25 inches in diameter, centered quarter
inch shaft, panel mount. Ceramic front and rear frame. Four rotor plates,
three stator plates. Panel mount. $4
Variable capacitor. Hammarlund HF15, quarter inch shaft, panel mount or
mount via threaded foot. A small air-wound coil is soldered across this one;
it could be easily removed. $4
Variable capacitor. Hammarlund MC20S. 1.5 inch dia plates, centered quarter
inch shaft. One rotor plate, two stator plates. Threaded for panel mount or
mounts via two feet with threaded holes. $4
Variable capacitor. Hammarlund, brass plates, ceramic frame. Two threaded
mounting holes in feet, also threaded for panel mounting. Quarter-inch
centered shaft. Total of five plates, plate spacing about 1/16 inch, plates
1.5 inches in diameter. Solder on lugs indicates it has been used, otherwise
in very good condition. $6.
Variable capacitor. An unusual Cardwell unit. Split stator differential
type, plates 1.25 inches in diameter with centered quarter inch shaft. Panel
mount. One section has total of 11 plates (6 rotor, 5 stator); other stator
section has two plates. As one section is opened, other closes. Ceramic
front and rear frame. $6.
Variable capacitor. 1.5 inch dia plates. 10 rotor, 9 stator plates. Quarter
inch centered shaft. Panel mount or mounts via two feet with threaded holes.
Looks like about 23 plates per inch spacing. Ceramic front and rear frame.
$6.
-- all seven above variable caps as a group, shipped lower 48, $33.
