Hi Mark,
Here is a message I saved some time ago from Cal to a fellow who was
asking the same question. Hope it helps Before you order from Antique
Electronic Supply, you might also check at a large hardware store or
hobby shop. .

>>Hi Bill:
>>I restored my current Ranger just using the gasket you described. That
kind will be found >>at Antique Electronic Supply in Tempe AZ. So far,
that is the best substitute (I forgot >>which one but they seem to be on
the expensive side however). It is the old gasket on the >>Ranger.
>>
>>I also restore cars and looked for this particular gasket at my local
upholsery shop: >>nada :^(.
>>
>>You can find Antique ES at www.tubesandmore.com
>>
>>73 de Cal, N6KYR
>>Seller of the EFJ Ranger and Valiant Tie Bolts (plus other Johnson
parts).

Finally, you might also check with Dee Almquist at
http://home.rica.net/soundnmind/ He replaced the gasket on my Ranger
cabinet that he refinished. He might tell you where he gets it, or
perhaps sell you a piece

Good luck with your restoration.

Ken K4XL
