Please join with us on Sunday April 21st for the Hallicrafters Collectors
International 20 meter Net. It will begin with the precocious pre-Net at 12:45
PM EDT, (1645 UTC). Whereupon we shall pummel the Ionosphere into submission by
pounding it relentlessly with electrons that emanate from those things that
still go glow in the dark. And I am not refering to middle age males who have no
hair and an eerie yellow haze seeping through their scalp pores from having
eaten those glow in the dark candies as a child!

The HCI Net, proper, shall commence with roar of cannon and crash of floor
collapsing under the weight of excessive boat anchors per square foot, at 1:15
PM EDT, (1715 UTC). The frequency will be 14.293 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks,
mike splatter and the Civil Defense sirens shreaking because of a percieved
possible earth tremor with an epicenter near Ferguson, KY where WA4JQS has a
zillion radios in his second floor Ham Shack. Well, at least until the floor
joist let loose and the radios moved to the basement!

Perhaps somebody like W5WP David Paperman will show up and enlighten us as to
why the solar assault divided 20 meters atabout 14.230 Mhz Wednesday evening.
Below that point the band was open to Europe and the Middle East. Above that
point it was deader than an Annelid who tried to wrestle a yard roller! Since
when does Sun spot activity get so precise?

I hope to hear many of you tomorrow in at least thirty states. Radio Randy? Fire
up Frogsassi and be on from WA tomorrow.

For those who wish to come early, I will be on the air at 12:30 PM EDT, (1630
UTC) so stop by and let's break a few old tubes and drop kick a few black
beauties around.
