Consider this Don.
Gasoline was $.33 per gallon in 1975.
Bread was about $.10 a loaf.
Hamburger was $.25 per pound.
As time goes on , money inflates and prices go up normally.
Considering the time value of money , gasoline should be about $3.50 per
gallon.
The last round of price dip at $.90 was the cheapest that gasoline has
ever been in history.
Also consider that about $.44 of that went to taxes to pay for the
building and upkeep of the interstate highway system that was inacted in
the mid 50 when the law put other modes of transportation out of
business.
WHy don't you enjoy the low price?
