At 2:00 AM Sunday April 7th the clocks are set ahead one hour for those in the
USA going on daylight savings time. Remember, Spring ahead, Fall back.

The HCI Nets will still seem to begin at the same time on your clock, that is,
the Sunday Net is still starting at 1:15 PM, but it is now EDT. The UTC will be
1715. The pre-Net will begin at 12:45 PM EDT, (1645 UTC).

The frequency will be 14.293 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the
sound of clocks being smashed with large sledge hammers by those who discovered
all too late, that they slept through the free breakfast buffet being offered at
McDonalds restaurants in Arizona. (grin)

If the Sun shines in Michigan on Sunday, and if my faithful sundial calibrated
with Braille markings is operational, and if I can remember how to set it for
DST, I will be on the air at 12:30 PM EDT, (1630 UTC) If not, well one of you
should ring my telephone chimes and request that I get up and get with the radio
program.

Actually, the subject of time is quite fascinating. Such as the TLT, or true
local time in your area. The UTC/CUT/GMT. The Sidereal time and how it relates
to nautical and astronomical navigation. The way in which what time it is where
you live is actually determined and how the entire concept of time operates on a
global scale. Worry not, I will not bore you with a treatise on said topic
tonight. Perhaps next weekend!
