[BCVHFA] IBRO Hamfest comes to Middletown

The International Brotherhood of Radio Operators (IBRO) will hold a
hamfest in Middletown on Saturday, December 6, 2014.
The hamfest will be held in a facility at 1723 South University
Boulevard and will be active 8am to 2pm. Admission $5 at the
door, Tables for information or bartering are available at $15 for
one or $25 for two. Anyone wishing to reserve a table should contact
Robert Howard (see below)
An Amateur Operator's licensing exam will be held, on the premises,
under the joint effort of the Dial Radio Club and the Butler County
Amateur Radio Association. Exam registration opens at 8:30 am and
exams commence shortly thereafter.
License applicants must furnish the original and one photocopy of
their current license (if any), original and one photocopy of any
certificates of successful completion of examination (CSCE) they may
hold, positive (photo) identification, and social security (SSN) or
license ID number (FRN).
If you are applying for your first license, please go
to https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/coresWeb/publicHome.do and obtain a
FRN. This web site is self explanatory and the FRN registration is free.
There is no preregistration - walk-ins welcome.and license exams are free.
