[BCVHFA] Tower for sale

The Dial Radio Club [Middletown, OH] is offering for sale a 35 foot
crank-up portable tower. The tower is of military origin and has
been used by the Club at Field Day exercises since the early 2000's.
The tower is a [military] AB-952.
Included with the tower are two sets of guy wires [yes, wire not
rope]. There is one set for the base mount and one set for the top of
the tower. The guys are adjustable for length and include built-in
turnbuckles. Also Included are guy stakes, jacking handle, and
carrying case. Stored tower is in a case approximately 6 x 2 x 3
feet. and its approximate weight is 120 lb..
Erection of the tower should be done by a minimum of five men (for
safety), three managing the guys and two inserting tower sections and jacking.
Condition of the tower is very good and free of any corrosion or
modifications. All tower accessories and parts are present. The
original manual (Chapter 2) describing the installation is available.
We're asking $325 (negotiable) and and the tower can be picked up in
Middletown, OH. During periods of usage, our Club mounted a rotator
and a 3-element tri-band beam atop the tower.
