[BCVHFA] Upcoming Events in the Ohio Section This Weekend

We have two events this weekend that I would like to remind everyone of:

On Saturday, September 8th is the 5th annual Ohio Parks On The 
Air.  This operating event is sponsored by the Portage County Amateur 
Radio Service, and promotes Amateur Radio while promoting Ohio's 
beautiful State Parks System. For details visit

On Sunday, September 9th, is the 70th Annual Findlay Hamfest. The 
hamfest is at the Hancock County Fairgrounds on Sandusky St in 
Findlay.  Talk-in is on 147.15/75  and 444.15+. The Flea Market opens 
at 7:30 ($5 per space), the inside buildings open at 8 AM ($20 for 
the first table, $15 for any table after that).  Setup begins at 6:30 
(or on Saturday if you want to come early).  Admission is $6. Under 
18 is Free. No reservation is needed for the flea market. For inside 
tables contact Bill Kelsey, N8ET at n8et at woh.rr.com. There will be an 
ARRL forum, scheduled for 9am.
