New Years Eve Get Together 2007



 We'd like to wish all of our families and friends a Merry Christmas and
Happy New Year and invite you to a New Years Eve party at our home on Dec
31, 2007 at approximately 6pm. We're planning on eating, hanging out,
playing cards, corn hole (weather permitting) and just having a good time
bringing in 2008. Children are most certainly welcome.



Have you ever heard of the card game "Phase 10"? Well, my Father introduced
us to it earlier this year and something happened. The last I heard was that
about ½ the family has gotten bitten by it. You can blame him for that!



What is it? It's a fun card game that Wal-Mart, Target and other stores
carry for around  $5 to $7. The object is to complete your hand in phases,
but they have to be done in the correct order. The fun really increases as
you add people.



And, for those of you interested in just spending the night, we will do
breakfast on New Years day before everyone decides to head out.



Sound like fun to you. It does to us as well. So, check you calendars and
get back with one of us so we can get an idea of how many tables and chairs
we'll need to round up.



Please don't hesitate in coming out and joining the fun because you think it
might be an extra burden on us. We appreciate your concern, but wouldn't do
this if we didn't enjoy it. The preparation needed to make these things
happen is relatively minor anymore. Most everyone seems to have a certain
"routine" and helps in making it happen. We have never felt like we didn't
want to do it anymore. It's because of YOU that we feel this way. You make
it easy and worth doing again.



All we ask for you to bring is a covered dish and if you have a preference
on drinks. (NO ALCOHOL PLEASE). We will provide the paper products, spiral
cut ham and sloppy Joe's.
