Hi gang,

Some of you have asked, so I thought I'd post it for everyone.

I recently had my Ameritron AL-82 amplifier serviced at The RF Shop in Hamilton
www.therfshop.com. The main tuning capacitor and both tubes were replaced, as
were a couple of doorknob capacitors. So far, the amp is working great! I
actually have to cut the drive back to get the same output as I had before.
Randy and his crew seem to really know their stuff. They are pleasant to work
with, and service most brands of amps and radios.

I called R&L to inquire about someone in the area that repaired this stuff, and
was told they didn't know of anyone. Rick AF8T and Barney N8HP told me about
this place, but didn't know anything about their work.

>From my perspective, everything went great! Good communication and updates on
when the parts would be in etc. I wouldn't hesitate to have them do additional
work for me. Check out their website and give them a call. And no, I didn't get
paid to do this. Everyone deserves a pat on the back when they do a good job!
