The program for the 20th annual SW Ohio Digital Symposium has been
formulated, and is cast in (at very least) rapidly congealing Jell-O.
Exact times may change, but we hope all of the subjects currently on the
agenda will be presented.

Details can be found at http://www.swohdigi.org

Topics, in current order of presentation are:

1. GnuRadio and the Universal Software Radio Peripheral John Ackerman, N8UR

2. Multi-Mile 2.4GHz Ham Band 802.11b Communications; A new record from
the WiFi Shootout in Las Vegas - Andy Meng, N8MX, Brandon Schamer,
KG4NVK and Ben Corrado, KC8RKO

3. AMSAT News and Views - Steve Coy, K8UD and Gerd Schrick, WB8IFM

4. Using Echo Link - The nuts and bolts of how it is done - Tom
Delaney, W8WTD

5 ARRL New and Views - Jim Weaver, K8JE, Gary Johnston, KI4LA and
Joe Phillips, K8QOE

6. WinLink 2000 - John Chapman, WB8INY

7. Practical Uses Of APRS in Public Service Activities - Randy Allen,
KA0AZS

There will be a "demo room" which will be locked during the
presentations, but open for demonstrations of YOUR favorite mode. Bring
along any portable and semi-portable digital systems and be prepared to
"show and tell" during the lunch hour.

Registration starts at 08:00 EST in the lower level of Thesken Hall,
Miami University, Middletown Campus, Middletown, Ohio, and presentations
begin at 9 a.m.

Note that we will have a catered luncheon of sandwich trays from
Schlottzky's Deli, for a nominal charge. If you wish to go elsewhere
for lunch there are numerous restaurants (fast food and otherwise)
within a mile or two of campus.

Directions are on the web site, and we'll try to have talk in on the
Middletown repeaters which operate on 146.61, 224.96, and 444.825 using
standard offsets.

We hope to see you there.
