Dial members:

I would like to remind you that we have a new Technician class starting
Aug. 23.  The exam material for Technician has changed significantly this
time around.  Much of the more difficult technical material has been
removed to make the Technician more of an entry level license.  If you
have friends or relatives, who have been interested in ham radio in the
past but were afraid they couldn't pass the test, now is the time to get
them involved.  It would be wonderful to have a large class this time.

A General class will follow the Tech class beginning Oct. 25 and
continuing through Dec. 6th.  The exam and book for the General license
has not changed.
