I'm going to watch the talks in the shack at A2 on Thursday; other BARC members are welcome to join me there. (Text me at 617-288-8379 or call on 146.52 to be let into the building.) The talks start at 10 am EDT and will run until about 6 pm, with a lunch break from 1 until 2. The BARC general meeting is happening that evening, starting at 7 pm. Field Day is likely to be the major agenda item. The meeting will be in either the classroom or the computer lab next door to it. Here is the list of talks; times listed in CDT, copy-pasted from the QRP-ARCI site. Add an hour for EDT. Those of you involved in building rigs will recognize a lot of the speakers. 0900 Jerry Wolczansky KI4IO - Building an all analog phasing transceiver for 40 meters CW 1000 Rick Campbell KK7B and Ana Rugani K7XNA - Hidden Transmitter and Interference Hunting 1100 George Heron N2APB and Pete Eaton WB9FLW - How Low Can You Go? - A Modern Coherent CW Transceiver for Weak Signal Communications 1200 Lunch 1300 Greg Latta AA8V - Aluminum Chassis Construction 1400 Adam Kimmerley K6ARK - Extreme, yet Practical HF Antennas for Portable Ops 1500 Ashhar Farhan VU2ESE - A VHF radio for the field 1600 Hans Summers G0UPL - Evolution in Radio Design: building the next (not a typo) If you get a pang of conscience about watching for free, go ahead and send some money to QRP-ARCI. I paid $12 for the streaming membership. They have closed signups for that but they always take donations.
