---------------------------
Hi everybody,

The Boxboro Convention will be held on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday,
August 23, 2015 at the Boxboro Holiday Inn at the intersection of I-495
and Rt. 111.

I have taken the responsibility for finding and coordinating the
volunteers for this year's convention. Thus, I am looking for people
just like you!

There are several possible roles (which are still evolving) including
but not necessarily limited to:

a) selling tickets

b) helping speakers get setup for their talks, kicking out the previous
speaker, checking badges as people enter the talks, etc.

c) varied tasks such as bringing water to other volunteers on a hot
August day

Each volunteer is asked to commit to a complete 2 hour shift as shown below:

7-9AM Sat
9-11AM Sat
11-1PM Sat
1-3PM Sat
3-5PM Sat
8-10AM Sun
10AM-12PM Sun
12-2PM Sun

For your volunteer efforts, you will be thanked (of course!) by yours
truly, and will receive a coupon for a few dollars toward your lunch.
One coupon will be issued per 2 hour shift, up to a maximum of two
coupons (one for Sat and one for Sun).

The Boxboro Convention works well with 35-40 volunteers. I will be
contacting the presidents of other clubs (some of whom are CC'd on this
email). Please feel free to forward this to your ham radio friends who
might be interested in volunteering.

Right now, I would like to gather a list of interested parties. Once I
have the list, I will start ironing out the schedule and actual job
assignments, all in coordination with you.

Please send me an email directly if you are interested. Please *DO NOT*
reply to the list - it is going to a LOT of people!

My email:

    or
andystewart at comcast.net

I very much appreciate your support as I take on this new responsibility.

Thanks for volunteering! It will be fun! I look forward to hearing
from you soon.

73,

Andy
