[BARC-List] Looking for hams to help at the Heartbreak Hill races this weekend

Hello everyone,

The Heartbreak Hill Half & Festival is a new area race this weekend, and
the medical team has asked for volunteer hams to provide communications
support. A new event means our work will be important to smooth over the
little unexpected issues that pop up. I’m still looking for a few
volunteers, especially for the Half-Marathon on Sunday, June 8, to help
round out the team. All events start at 7:30 AM at Boston College in
Newton. Plan to get there a little early for check-in, and leave around
noon. The only equipment you need to bring is a 2m handheld radio,
preferably with a gain antenna.
