The window is the vertical up/down style.
I obviously want to ensure proper insulation with something like any
of the above. It goes window, window-size mesh screen (mosquitos),
outside.
The screen also helps prevent against unwanted snow to build in the
window frame.
With the above options, the mesh screen would likely need to go.
Central air negates window-based a/c units.
What have others done?
I've also considered coax-to-twin-lead-to-coax.
Insights are welcome. Once the feedline issue can be resolved, the
antenna and radio problems should resolve themselves.
I've also considered running coax from the car into the house, but
that is not really practical, and I'm looking for fixed-station, not
mobile, operation.
