On Sunday, June 20, Hams served at the Bikes Not Bombs Bike-a-thon Public Service Event.

I want to thank Rob Macedo KD1CY, EMA ARRL Assistant Section Manager and ARES SKYWARN Coordinator. He radioed the BNB Net Control to give a Doppler Weather Radar report and to warn us of the possibility of severe weather affecting our Public Service Event.

I also want to thank Mark Duff KB1EKN, BARC Past President, for calling BNB Net Control to report severe storm damage in the Town of Hingham. The possibility being that BNB might also have severe weather problems.

Rob and Mark, thank you again for your timely warnings.
