*We have a new 2-meter repeater in the Boston area...
**D-Star from the roof of the Prudential Tower.

*W1MRA (as in MMRA)
ID is W1MRA <sp><sp>C
145.160 -600 offset
DV mode

Internet access exists but we are awaiting the PC and some software for
internet linking.

We initially had some issues with RFI but they were pretty much
eliminated when W1BRI re-tuned an ultra-sharp RX filter which is giving
us about -120dB attenuation from the FM broadcasters on site. It was
installed late today. HUGE DIFFERENCE !

First QSO was this afternoon at about 5PM:
Rick K1RJZ Boston + Bob K1IW Waltham and Cal WA1ROK in Salem NH. All
were mostly pinning the S-meter.
Coverage in the Metrowest area was very good also.

We need signal reports! Please come play...

Granted... not exactly GEMOTO-type gear but certainly valid for
experimenters!
