Hi Arthur and Bob,
The IC735 is/was a very fine radio. Finding one with its matching power supply/speaker will be a challenge. The manual is findable online, I believe. Finding one in "near perfect " condition will be a challenge, since the rig is almost 30 years old. "Issues" will be those typical of aged radios, although most transistorized rigs that have been cared for will probably be OK.
In its day, it was the DXers choice radio due to its small size and excellent performance for the size and dollar.
Depending on how intently you want the 735, you might consider equally good alternatives, such as the Kenwood TS430 or Yaesu FT840, both of which are comparable rigs of the same vintage and are equally simple in operation. The 430 is more readily found than the 840, though. Or consider some of the TenTec gear in the Triton family.
As to antenna tuners and power supplies, those are items that can be swapped between rigs quite readily, but hte Icom power supply specifically for the IC735 will be a challenge. Again, any other PS that can match the ratings will work, as attested by the number of people who took them afield.
The IC735 is a fine rig, but you should consider that it might be a while before you find someone willing to part with it.
Good luck!
73,.
