[BARC-List] FW: BARC Cookout, Still not to late to attend!

We now have 21 signed up for the cookout. We are purchasing a little extra
food so even if you have not signed up you will be welcome if at the last
minute you decide to attend!

BARC members are reminded of the BARC Annual Cookout this Sunday at the Bare
Cove Fire Museum in Hingham.

It is not to late to sign up.

This is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain we just move indoors.

So far 21 people have indicated they will be coming. For those taking Public
Transportation take the GREENBUSH line from South Station and get off at the
WEST HINGHAM STATION.  The walk from the station is about 1/3 of a mile. We
will have a vehicle at the station to meet the train for those arriving at
the station at 1328 hrs. Talk in will be on 145.23 or 146.52.

·	From Route 3 north or south, take the Rt. 228 Rockland/Hingham Exit into
Hingham.(Exit 14)

If coming from the North turn left off the ramp. You will pass a Home Depot
on your right.

If coming from the South turn right off the ramp. You will pass “Not Your
Ordinary Joe’s”  Restaurant on your right and a pond on your left.

·	Continue about 3/4mile to a set of traffic lights at Rt. 53.

·	Go straight through the traffic lights. You will be on Main St./Rt. 228
Hingham. Go about 1.6 miles and you will pass a fire station on your left.

·	Continue straight another 1.2 miles and take a left at the traffic lights
which is  High Street.

·	Proceed 3/10 of a mile and take your first right on to Cross St which
turns into New Bridge St. Drive 1.4 miles to the end.

·	At the stop sign turn right and proceed ½ mile. Take a left just before
“Thomas Auto Body.”  The MBTA West Hingham Station is on your right. Proceed
straight into Bare Cove Park. The Fire Museum is about 1/3 of a mile in on
the right.
