[BARC-List] BARC Memorial to KA1TUZ

     It would be appropriate and respectful to dedicate the July
issue of the SPARC to the Memory of Dick  KA1TUZ, SK by writing and
publishing articles about Dick and his ham radio activities over the
years.

     Three memories come to my mind.

     Back when I was getting inquiries about packet radio, I
recommended that they email Dick as he was very enthusiastic,
knowledgible and active in that field. Afterwards, people told me
that Dick was very helpful to them.

     Dick installed a temporary antenna at the Boston World Trade
Center during an Assistive Technology show, one of our Public Service
Events. I was his novice "tool passer". Our conversation that day
gave me a better understanding and insight of BARC and of Ham Radio.

     During check-ins to BARC Net, Dick would identify himself as
"KA1TUZ from the Garden City of Newton".
