Judging from what I have read in the newspapers both can be
pretty wild places at times. Probably a good idea is to carry both an
HT and a cell phone while on Safari in these two places.

Yes, thank you Blake for reminding us all. It's something like a
Flight Plan for airplanes going from city to city. Also, there is the
Float Plan given to friends ashore by boats that will be cruising for
a long distance along the coast, along a river or offshore out of
sight of land.
Like they taught me in the Boy Scouts, BE PREPARED!
