Hi, All. Discussion at the February 1, BARC Business Meeting
showed great interest in BARC and Ham Radio participation in the
Cambridge Science Festival. Let's move ahead to the next step.
I've just had a good, long, hard look at this Web URL:
http://www.cambridgesciencefestival.org/getinvolved.html
*******************************************************
An excerpt from that Web site:
The overarching theme for the inaugural Cambridge Science Festival is
"Science in the City",
Four sub-themes:
"Innovations"
"Science & the Arts"
"Energy & the Environment"
"Science in Everyday Life"
will provide unity and easy-to-understand structure for all Festival
events.

After your reading:

What are your thoughts, ideas, and recommendations on just how
BARC and Ham Radio would fit into the themes noted just above? Once
we all have your input on this, we can go ahead and submit an
Application. This is going to be a participatory event for all of us
interested in this activity.
Please reply to: "barc-list" <barc-list at mailman.qth.net> so
that we will all be in the "information loop". Thus we will all have
the benefit of knowing what is happening and be able to actively
participate.
