                We're the Hosts

                  
   Our members attending the BARC Holiday Party on Wednesday,
December 12, will be hosting and extending hospitality to families,
friends, pre-hams and non-hams.

    We urge all of the hams to wear their BARC or other ham
affiliation name badge to facilitate making introductions,
conversations and all around holiday hospitality for our guests.

    Have you ever entered a room full of strangers and tried to sort
them all out? The wearing of your ham radio name badge at the party
will be a big help during the festivities.

     The annual printing of the above in the December issue of the
SPARC or on the barc-list is getting to be a tradition for us. It's
much like the annual publication of the famous, "Yes, Virginia, there
is a Santa Claus" editorial in the old "New York Sun".
