[BARC-List] Skywarn training in Natick

Hi Everyone,
Please join us as the Natick Emergency Radio Group is
pleased to host a Skywarn Spotter Training session
with the National Weather Service on Saturday, June
17, 2006 from noon to 2:30 p.m. The session will be
held at the Public Training Center, in the rear of the
Police/Fire Department Complex, 20 East Central
Street, Route 135, Natick.

The training session is free of charge, and there is
no need to register. However, participants will be
asked to fill out a short form during the class. 

Official Spotter numbers will be given to anyone who
attends the training and is at least 16 years of age
or older. People younger than 16 who desire a spotter
number, and who can present special circumstances will
be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. 

Talk-in on 147.42 and on the Natick repeater, 447.675
with a pl of 203.5

	DIRECTIONS 

>From Route 9, take route 27 south into Natick center.
Left at the lights on to route 135 east, second left
immediately after the Morse Institute Library on
Clarendon street and right into the parking lot behind
the police/fire complex.

North from Route 27, into Natick, take right at lights
on to route 135 east. (Common is on your right) Second
left on Clarendon and right into the parking lot
behind the building.   

East on Route 135, straight through the intersection
of route 27 and 135. Second left on to Clarendon
street and right into the parking lot behind the
complex.

West on Route 135, in Natick, look for St. Patrick’s
church on right, pass Hayes street and the police/fire
complex on right and take immediate right on to
Clarendon and right in to the parking lot behind the
complex.
 
If you reach the intersection of 135 and 27, you have
gone too far.

To enter the Public Safety Training Room, go to the
rear of the Public Safety Building on the Hayes Street
side, (closest to St. Patrick’s Church). You will see
a door to the right of the two large garage doors that
look into the fire station, use that door to enter the
building and take a right and the meeting
room will be on your right. DO NOT use any other
entrance or you will not get to the meeting room.
Please DO NOT park your auto in any of the parking
spaces in the two rows near the building or in front
of the garage doors, or you will be towed. Use the
designated public spaces towards the rear of the lot.
