[BARC-List] Blue Hill Observatory Open House

Barc will have a VHF and probably an HF station in operation at the Blue Hill Observatory Open House on April 29.  The station will operate from 10:00AM until about 2:00 PM. All members are invited to participate.  The station will be located at the summit of Great Blue Hill.  You may walk up the hill (there are several trails many beginning at the Trailside Museum on Rt 138) but transportation will be also be  provided up the hill on the auto road which begins near the aforementioned Trailside Museum. If you cannot attend it would be helpful to those operating the station if you would monitor the BARC repeater (145.23) and the BARC simplex frequency (147.42) so as to be able to respond to a call when a demonstration of the station is required.
