The WW2 LST that made news in QST and the major media outlets when it
sailed home from Greece a couple years ago arrived in Boston last night,
with a full complement of Hams in the radio room It will be here for 12
days, including leading the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides) turn-around
on Saturday, 6/11.

Radioroom callsign WW2LST (+MARS & Marine calls) is monitoring 146.520
in addition to the announced HF schedule (see web). My VHF QSO was cut
short by Tom having to go handle lines, alas.

BARC connections --
(1) In discussion with their webmaster, I have taken the liberty (if
you'll pardon the pun) of inviting the Radiomen to BARC Breakfast on
Sunday 6/12.
(2) Their webmaster would like a volunteer that can get to a higher
altitude on the harbor take pictures of the turn-around on Saturday
6/11. See the Forum linked from their website, and email the webskipper
direct if you can help.

Either the LST website or http://EMA.ARRL.ORG should be posting one or
two of my photos of the LST arriving 6/8 with fireboat salute, but I
haven't seen 'em yet.
