[BARC-List] Informal net on 145.23 to be activated for storm coverage.

Due to the impending storm, members of the Amateur Radio Community in the Greater  Boston Area are requested when and where available to maintain a radio watch on their local repeaters and be prepared to render aid on the air and relay traffic if necessary.

 

 An informal net will take place Saturday afternoon and Saturday night on the Boston 145.23 repeater. If necessary it will be extended into Sunday.

 

Please feel free to check in.

 

If it becomes necessary, a more formal net may be activated.

 

Skywarn will also be active and will be taking reports of snowfall, wind and storm damage.
