[BARC-List] Operation Atlas

As some of you may have heard, there is a federal exercise at Logan Airport
on May 7, 2005.  The exercise is called "Operation Atlas" and is designed
around a hijacked aircraft scenario.

 

The Red Cross will be involved in this exercise and we have just received
word that the Boston EMA will also be involved.  To what extent that will or
will not involve BARC and/or BERT, I do not know yet.

 

I do know that it would not be a good idea to show up at Logan with a radio
and volunteer the day of the exercise!

 

I will provide you with more information as it becomes available.
