Framingham ARA November 4th meeting - Norm Fusaro, W3IZ, ARRL Affiliated Club and Mentoring Manager, will speak on the future of Amateur Radio and growing clubs through Elmering and developing new hams. (Thanks, Gordy, BARC and FARA member, for fwding this.)

Colonial Wireless Association (The CWA meeting is:
Wednesday, October 27, 7:30pm, Lexington United Methodist Church, 2600 Massachusetts Ave. Stuart Santelmann (KC1F) will talk about: Having and using an Antenna Farm on a small house lot, keeping it nearly invisible from the neighbors, or --  "How to Hide an Elephant in Plain View". (Thanks, Larry, K1SAS, CWA member, for passing this and the next item.)

Westford PART is considering a one evening club project for the November 16th meeting: construction of a handheld 2 meter/440 beam that could be used to work amateur radio satellites using only a dual band walkie or two walkies. This would be a kit and you would assemble it and debug it during the club meeting. The kits will cost $35 each. Please contact Bo (WA1QYM) if you are interested.
