Since I just mentioned it in reply to Dan, here's the message I'm sending out
tonight. I don't send these every nigth, just when I have something to say.

Latest GFS/AVN model (gfs3.040322/1800) has early indicators of extended VHF+
openings on evenings of the 26th & 27th, with phasing in and out 26th through
28th.

Eta/M (etam.040322/1800) has short-lived linear-feature VHF ducting mid-day
24th. RUC2 (ruc2.040323/0000) confirms trend in that direction.

South coast may have sea-moisture related evening ducting other times, e.g.,
23rd, but in 220 and 440 bands, not 2m. NWS NEXRAD BOX, OKX expected to have
AP on the sea-side continuously, but landward only intermittenly.

Please send reports of VHF/UHF DX.

This is an experimental forecast product based on Navy formulae applied to NWS
computer model forecast sounding files (Eta/EtaM & AVN/GFS Bufkit).
