[BARC-List] Thank you, Associate Members

      Hi, All. With the arrival of the New Year, this is a grand time for 
me to thank all of the Associate Members of the BARC Membership Services 
Committee.

       During the past year, and even before that, numerous non-hams, 
pre-hams and hams have helped me with advice and information that was used 
to answer inquiries that I have received. The inquiries are mostly about 
how to get a ham radio license and the BARC program of activities. Other 
inquiries dealt with the disposal and donation of ham radio gear and the 
location of the nearest VE Session site.

      I even had an inquiry about Marine VHF and HF radio information from 
a boat owner planning a long distance trip.  I referred him to several U. 
S. Power Squadron Web URLs and email addresses that I found. It's 
interesting, the people I've met in this greeter and hospitality function.

       Again, thank you all for your help; Happy New Year, and may you all 
achieve your 2004 ham radio goals.
