I'm refitting an old Toshiba Tecra 750CDM laptop (Pentium MMX-266) for
Linux use, and I want to find some more memory for it. Naturally, the
major memory mfrs have discontinued the modules that fit this relic.
Anyone have leads on EDO memory modules (or docking stations or that
really cute clip-on video camera) for an old Toshiba laptop?
Options I've already thought of:
I'll try The MIT Flea once it ramps up for the season, natch.
I've looked on Ebay, and some of this stuff is there (imagine paying $500+
for a 266 MHz Pentium laptop - weird! I can get a whole Shuttle XPC for
that amount!), but I *really* distrust Ebay and won't buy or sell there;
too many horror stories.
Many thanks, Steve Hersey N1XNX
