[BARC-List] Lightbulb antenna?

Light bulbs have historically been a cheap parts source for dummy loads. In RF 
applications at HF they work a lot like they do at 60Hz; more heat than light. 
Your next door neighbor might hear you, but don't expect more than that. Have 
you tried using one as a receive antenna? Perhaps another read of "Antenna 
Fundamentals" is in order...
