[BARC-List] BARC Question of the Week

You'd expect to see a question asking about what you bought or what you want to buy, based on your trip to this past weekend's Boxboro convention. But I wonder what did you pass up? What earth-shaking, cloud-clearing gadget, gizmo, or widget did you NOT buy, and why?

For me, I passed on a spool of twinlead. You know the type of wire... Two wires with the plastic spacers, 450 Ohms, UV resistant. You've seen it. Well, I passed on it because I used to have a spool of the stuff and sold it. I immediately regretted selling it and wanted it back! But the guy and the wire moved to Oregon. So, here was my chance to replace it. But I had to force myself to remember why I sold mine in the first place -- I don't plan to build a G5RV nor a doublet. So I bit my tongue and put my wallet back in my pocket and walked to the next table at the flea market.
