[BARC-List] BARC Question of the week

Hi,

I didn't see any responses to last week's posting; I think something was amiss with my system. But let's keep that one floating in cyberspace and respond when it reappears.

In the meantime, speaking of cyberspace, do you have a computer connected to your radio? If so, how do you use it? Digimodes? Control? Logging? Antenna rotation? DX spotting? Echolink? Huh? And if you don't have a computer connected, would you like to, and how would you use it?

For myself, I have great intentions to connect my laptop to my 'big rig' but I've only used it to monitor some PSK31 signals so far, using Digipan software. My challenge is to squeeze the rig's DIN connection into a USB port on the pc. I'd sure like to look at DX-Lab, written by a neighbor (who has indicated a willingness to speak to BARC... A hint of something to come soon!).
