and perhaps in other venues that carry the program,

The NPR program "The Connection' is carrying in its second
hour "Tuning in the World" with host Dick Gordon.

"Far-flung frequencies. Long before the Internet brought the global 
village home, ham radio connected counties, and continents. Why digital 
age hams still thrill to a ride on radio's bandwidth."
