Hi all,
There are current attempts to "win", or at least prepare for a win of the
Brendan trophee using BEACONet^31, which uses PSK31. See the web links in my
signature if you are interested, or subscribe to the BEACONet list at
yahoogroups: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BEACONet . Ev Tupis (copied on
this email) has been pushing a lot, and there are several HAMs on the
eastern seaboard and in Europe listening. A good site for VHF propagation
forcasts is http://www.iprimus.ca/~hepburnw/tropo.html .
I am active (from Boston) on 10 meters BEACONet^31 (back on the air when my
trx comes back from repair) , but my antenna situation unfortunately doesn't
allow me to do very much on 2 meters.
Hope to see you in BEACONet!
