[BARC-List] BARC SET Participation

To all those BARC members, and others, who wish to participate in the
upcoming "Simulated Emergency Test", Saturday, Nov. 9th,
please contact Rick De Sisto, <ng1l@arrl.net> , BERT Team Leader.

The Salvation Army will participate as a "Served Agency" in Metro
Boston, supported by the Boston Amateur Radio Club's own
"Emergency Response Team"(BERT),and others.

The success of this years drill depends on the active
participation of us all. Emphasis this year will be on both mobile
responses, and communications under simulated emergency operating
situations; such as communicating w/o repeaters, HF using
NVIS, traffic handling from OEC's and mobile destinations, and other
unknown's planned by the SET originator's.
