n1ist The BARC general meeting will be this Thursday evening at
7 PM at the Salvation Army in Boston. Our guest speaker
will be Jacques Patry.
The new antenna went up on 145.23 two weeks ago and seems
to be doing fine.
The Tech class will be ending on Tuesday with the VE session.

n1nhz NE QSO Party will be held on May 4-5. This will replace the

kb1ekn Thanks to all who participated in both the Everett Boy Scout
demo and kb1eit for arrainging the Brookline demo and doing it
as his science project.
The public safety net meets each Tuesday night at 21:00 on 145.23
The SWAT net has been ressurected on Friday nights at 21:00 on .23
it now includes Net Control 101 - a great way for getting your feet
wet.
There will be an informal net this Saturday from 10:00 - 14:00 on
145.23 for the SET. Members of the BERT team will meet after the
SET for a light lunch and debreifing.
n1zkr Will participate with the SET along with the Red Cross. Looking
forward to seeing everyone at the meeting.
Thanks to all who helped with the repeater repairs. Was able to hit
.23 from Worcester with an HT and a rubber duck!
