That would be me. The quote was from the lady in charge of the museum
library when I dropped off advance information on Field Day. It was in
specific response to my comment that there was nothing on ham radio, even in
the stacks, and that BARC might be willing to donate a set of license study
guides and a copy of the ARRL Handbook. What I was told was that such a
donation would be refused because it was not relevant to any of the exhibits.
As for Ms. Ruiz, the library staff didn't bother to mention her or anyone
else at the museum who might be interested or who involved with the space
exhibits. I was, BTW, quite impressed with the exhibit itself. Also, now
that I have a name to put with the exhibit, I will be passing along the
materials from my research for the Field Day information table to Ms. Ruiz.
