Hey, there! I just thought I would send you a quick note to let you know of
an event we're having here at the CS&T Center at the Museum of Science,
Boston (since you have written to me in the past about your interest in the
space program!):
Come to CS&T and meet astronaut Michel Tognini [KD5EZJ] on July 30th and 31st
at 2:30 pm!
For two special presentations, astronaut Michel Tognini will visit the CS&T
Center to talk about his career in the space program. (Museum exhibit hall
admission or membership required for entry.)
Tognini is a French astronaut with the European Space Agency. His first
flight to space was a 14-day mission on the Russian Mir space station in
1992. In 1999, he was a mission specialist onboard Space Shuttle Columbia.
That mission deployed the Chandra X-ray Observatory, the newest of NASA's
Great Observatories. Now, Tognini works with robotics control for the
International Space Station.
Come to CS&T and meet astronaut Michel Tognini on July 30th and 31st at 2:30
pm!
Maybe I will see you next week!
Tania
