N1ZKR   Thurs May 2nd Business Meeting @ Parlin Library in Everett.
Special meeting to discuss changes to the bylaws. 7pm - members
encouraged to attend.

N1DHW	Attended Salvation Army Emergency training First Responder unit
section
	today with NG1L and KB1EKN.  Main speaker was the director was the
director
        of emergency services in Western PA. Behind the scenes info re:
ground zero 
        and problems they solved. Will be put to good use in the BERT
team.

	Field Day - We will be at Larz Anderson w/ some restrictions due to
construction.
	We have a letter confirming that. Need folks to volunteer for s/u and
takedown and            station captains to coordinate a particular
station. Interested persons in                    volunteering or with
specifics in mind please email:

	Reminders - Hosstraders is this weekend. Hopkington NH
	Dayton like feel. Bring some money. Large and small toys.

	Barc Breakfast Sunday May 12th @ Old Country Buffet

	NE QSO Party this weekend starts @ 4pm. Folks can attend Hosstraders in
the AM 
	and be back for the NE QSO Party.

KA1JNY  Has been checking into the BEMA Braintree net. Is interesting in
joining BARC.

N1HID   Wet yesterday working the Run of the Charles but fun. He was at
lower 
	Moody Dam on the Charles. Lot of canoes and people.
        Sunday is the Walk for Hunger @ Boston Common.
